Q: Does the Adult & Junior day fee include any rounds?
A: Yes. We include 400 rounds as part of the all inclusive Full Day Package for Adults or Juniors.
We also include 200 rounds with the all inclusive Half Day Adult & Junior packages.
Q: How much does it cost for extra paintball rounds?
A: We charge 7pence per ball for Adults or 6pence per ball for juniors.
Q: Do you sell paintballs in bulk?
A: We do however you we never drop below 6pence per ball and you would need to buy a minimum of 2000 paintballs.
Q: How much is the lunch?
A: Lunch is all inclusive on the Full Day packages however on the half day packages we charge £3.50 for lunch which you can pay for on the day.

Q: Where is the Hot Shots venue? MAPS
A: In brief Hot Shots is located between the villages of Upper Bucklebury and Cold Ash, just off the A4 north of Thatcham, close to Newbury. We are also 45 minutes from London, 30 mins from Oxford and 20 mins from Reading.
Q: How much does it cost for a taxi from the BR station to the Hot Shots venue?
A: Approximately .....
Q: How many people can your venue take?
A: Approximately 200 - 250 people.
Q: Do you have a first Aider on site incase of an accident?
A: Yes - At all times.
Q: How far is the Hot Shots venue from the nearest train Station?
A: Approximately 2 miles from Thatcham Station.
Q: How much does it cost to get a taxi from the station to your venue?
A: Approximately £4 per cab.
Q: Can you arrange transport for our group?
A: Unfortunately Hot Shots cannot take responsibility for your travel arrangements to and from our venue.
Q: Do you have toilets and changing facilities?
A: Yes. Both for Ladies and Gentlemen, at the safe area.
UNDER 18's
Q: Do you offer a discount for under 18's?
A: Yes. We only charge 12-17 year olds £34.95 including 400 rounds and lunch.(see young-gunz package). Extra rounds at 6 pence per ball instead of 7 pence.
Q: Is paintballing safe for under 18's.
A: Yes, if the group is accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian who can take full responsibility for the group. As you can imagine, we take safety very seriously, however sometimes under 18's can injure themselves and others by virtue of their age and lack of awareness and danger. This is why we require a guardian for the group who we can refer to. We also require a parental disclaimer to be filled out by each parent.(see here)
Q: What is the minimum age for paintballing?
A: 12 years old. Must be accompanied by a parent for the start of the day in order that we can ask you to sign a parental disclaimer.
Alternatively please print a parental disclaimer from here and bring it with you on the day.
Q: How many paintballs is my child likely to use during the paintball session?
A: At Hot Shots we actually limit the amounts of rounds for juniors to 50 paintballs per game. This way your child will only use the free rounds alreay included within the paintball package plus you won't get a suprise paint bill at the end of the session!
Q: What is the minimum group size for a party of under 18's?
A: There isn't a minimum group size for weekend bookings. We will always accomodate a small or large group of juniors on any weekend date. We do request that a parent or guardian accompany the group to the site initially in order to sign a parental disclaimer. Alternatively you may print one off from here and bring it with you on the day.
BOOKING
Q: What is a provisional booking?
A: A 'provisional booking' is unconfirmed on both sides. You are not sure of final numbers and we cannot confirm your event until we have received a deposit cheque from you. Never the less, your details are noted in our diary and you will be contacted three weeks before your event in order to ask you if you still intend to go ahead with the booking.
Q: How do I make a booking?
A: You can make a booking over the phone between (9am - 5:30pm Mon - Fri) by calling us on (0870) 7873897 . If we are out of the office, please leave a message on our answer phone letting us know what date you are interested in, which event & for how many people. Alternatively, use the on-line booking forms available here.
PAYING DEPOSITS
Q: Where do I send deposits to and who do I make the cheque payable to?
A: Do not send deposits or any other correspondence to the site address near Dorking. Instead go to the contacts page and note down our Office address. Cheques are made payable to the 'All Action Events Ltd'.
Q: Do I need to pay a deposit in order to confirm the booking?
A: Yes. You will need to send a non-refundable deposit cheque to the 'All Action Events Ltd' in Newbury or alternatively you can pay by credit card over the phone (0870) 7873897 or on-line (Credit Card Booking Form). Failure to pay a deposit in advance of your event will result in the cancellation of your booking. The Hot Shots office address.
Q: Do you accept Credit Card?
A: Yes we do, Simply call us on (0870) 7873897 to arrange payment. Office opening hours (9:00 a.m - 5:30 p.m) (Mon - Fri)

Q: How much is the deposit?
A: A Paintballing deposit is only £10 per head (non-refundable).
Q: How far in advance do I need to pay deposits?
A: Deposits need to be paid at least one weeks prior to the event. In most cases, due to the fact that we nearly always achieve capacity, we recommend your deposit to be with us no later than two weeks in advance. This ensures that your group is not displaced by other groups who are in a position to pay their deposits sooner.

Q: Do you accept Credit Cards on site?
A: Yes. We also accept cheque or cash for balance payments or on-site sales, so if you don't have a credit card and wish to purchase extra paintballs on the day, please remember to bring a cheque book and valid cheque card or cash.

Q: How long does each paintball game last?
A: Each game lasts for approximately 20 minutes with a 10 minute interval in between.
Q: Does my group absolutely have to arrive at the specified time or can I change the start time?
A: We are flexible with groups of 20 or more people.
Q: What do I do if one of my group get lost on the way to your venue?
A: Please provide all of your group with a MAP of how to get to the venue. Once you have booked and paid you deposits we will give a phone number to call on the day of your event if and when your group is delayed or indeed lost on route to the venue. This phone number is only to be used for such a situation and will only be answered on weekends or when groups are expected to play at our venue.
Q: Are there any charges to pay on the day?
A: Because you only pay a £10.00 per head non-refundable deposit before arrival at our venue, you will need to pay the rest of the day-fee or 'the balance' amount on arrival. Apart from that, the only extra costs are for extra paintballs, smoke grenades if you choose to buy them. Lunch is already included with a full-day package however if you choose to have lunch on a half-day package you will be charged £3.50 per person.
Q: How many games will we play?
A: Approximately 8 - 10 games.

Q: What clothing and footwear should we take with us?
A: Suitable outdoor clothing and comfortable boots or outdoor shoes preferably with ankle support. Do not wear high heals or smart clothing that you would rather keep clean.
Q: Because my group are travelling up to your site separately, do I need to give them anything before they set out?
A: Yes. Each group will need a MAP, your mobile phone number plus the site phone number incase they get lost or are going to arrive late. .
Q: What time should we arrive?
A: You should usually arrive at 9:30am full day or 1:30pm half day unless you have arranged with us to arrive at an alternative time. Failing to arrive on time may result in some or all of your group missing out on a certain games. Click here for the session times.
