About our venue
Dragon's Lair Paint Ball is purpose built in over 40 acres of woodland near Brentwood in Essex, close to Junction 28 of the M25.
We've been paint balling for 17 years and the third site in the country to open, giving us the experience and knowledge that no other site can match.

Authentic equipment that performs well helps your day run smoothly
The semiautomatic paintball guns & cutting edge equipment is probably one of the most important parts of your day. Fresh clean overalls, hoods and goggles when you arrive. Reliable guns, free gas refills, capacity in the gun so you don't have to keep reloading plus the option to carry more ammo with our battlepacks and ammo loaders.

The site is divided into 5 separate paintball fields which can be played in a variety of ways. Expect to play around 10 different games on your day with us.

Please Note: We can accomodate 'insular games' or 'Exclusive Use' of our facilities (a minimum number of people may be required for this depending on the date - please check)

What Will My Group & I Experience?
You might be friends and colleagues outside of the paintball field arena, but when the whistle blows and the mayhem starts the adrenaline begins to flow and your basic instincts suddenly take control....
seek and destroy your enemy at the first opportunity you get before they destroy you.
Your physical coordination & mental agility will be heightened by the sheer excitement and rush of the moment. Whether you win or lose, the 'Thrill' of the first game will leave you riveted to your weapon, raring for the next game & wishing you'd discovered Essex Paintball Games sooner!
You'll play a refreshing variety of action packed games on four fields including Woodland, Barricades and Pyramid give a choice from simple attack and defend to capturing the flag to complex & authentic scenario games.
Between paintball games you & your team can take a breather and discuss tactics for your next battle whilst helping yourself to a fresh cup of complementary tea or coffee.
Our safety trained marshals will explain the games and are with you throughout the day to give you an experience you'll never forget. So even if you've never played before,
you'll have the ultimate paintball experience at one of the very first & best paintball venues in the UK.
At lunch time we will serve you a fresh baked baguette from the local pub and if you're in need of some sweet stuff we can help there too.

What kind of day should you expect?
You're 100% guaranteed to have a laugh & enjoy yourself!
We're probably the only venue you'll find with a real sense of fun.
We don't take ourselves too seriously and have 17 years of experience in sending people home smiling, completely satisfied with the the our team of professional marshals, the paintball venue and every aspect of your day with us.
The games are played with two teams firing non-staining, biodegradable paint balls, which burst on impact. When you're hit, you're eliminated from that game.
The type of games you will play depends on the game zones and the particular set of scenario game rules we choose to deploy at the time. This way you can also expect to play a different set of games even if you decide to come back to us the following week or month.
Some other things you can expect!
We do not employ under 18's as Marshalls. Your day will be staffed by EPSF qualified 'Adults'.
We can organise your day around you. If you have 25 people or more, we can keep you all together and let you play amongst yourselves (Certain dates may require a few more players - please check).
You will not be charged for any hidden extras. Our packages always include you equipment and in most cases the paintball ammunition. Lunch is also inclusive so you only need to pay for extra paint over and above your Free Paint.

Young Gunz days are held on the second week of every month.
We do this so that there are enough young players to put on an under 16's only game rather than mixing under 16's with adult players.
